Come create a new community that you design with us.  Amisto Cohousing Society is pleased to announce that it has found the perfect location to establish a new community in the beautiful Coquitlam neighbourhood, and we are looking to form a group to purchase the site.

We are excited to invite you to join a new and vibrant cohousing community in Coquitlam, British Columbia. Our community is located in a beautiful neighborhood that is walkable to skytrain, shopping, parks, and schools. We believe that cohousing is a great way to live and that everyone deserves the opportunity to live in a friendly and supportive neighborhood.

At Coquitlam Cohousing, you will be a part of a true community where you not only greet your neighbours, but you know your neighbours. Our community is designed to bring people of all ages and backgrounds together, creating a supportive and diverse environment. From the energy of youth to the wisdom of elders, everyone is enriched by living in cohousing.

Our community features a large common house that is perfect for entertaining, community dinners, and events. The common house is the heart of the community, and is a central gathering place for all members. You will also have the opportunity to participate in shaping the design and culture of our community and experience the excitement of seeing it come to life.

Coquitlam Cohousing will probably be a 5-story building, with 8 units per floor, and will feature amenities such as a rooftop deck, wide internal atriums with meeting nooks and other uses, and communal interior spaces that you will help determine.
