Cohabitat Sweetfern Cohousing
Our mission is to create an intentional, multi-generational community that respects the autonomy and privacy of all cohousing residents while seeking to foster neighbourly support and mutual caring of each other and, therefore, the greater community in which we reside.
This is to be achieved by developing affordable and privately-owned housing units of different sizes; emphasizing collective planning, consensus decision-making, and management; providing shared resources such as common spaces and facilities; and encouraging social interaction such as frequent common meals and voluntary participation of all residents in indoor and outdoor activities within a spirit of reciprocity.
